Ordering

Ordering products is done by using Hat-away's product catalog and adding products to the site's shopping cart feature. From the shopping cart page, the checkout process continues through pages for customer data, payment etc. When the order is confirmed by the customer, a receipt will automatically be sent to the customer's e-mail address. Additionally, when the staff has reviewed the order, an order confirmation is sent out to the same e-mail address.

Prices

All prices include 25 % Danish VAT, when nothing else is stated. After entering the customer data, VAT is deduced if the customer is a business customer from other EU countries than Denmark, or a customer from outside the EU. When this happens, information will be given on the page.

Prices are shown in DKK or EUR depending on the customer's choice. In all cases, the order will be invoiced in DKK, and the final figures will be shown in DKK on the confirmation page.

Credit card payment

We accept these credit cards: Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, and JCB.

No fee is charged for credit card payment. Transaction currency is DKK.

Payment with credit cards are handled through a secure connection. The entered card information is encrypted with SSL-encryption (Secure Socket Layer) and cannot be accessed by other people. The secure connection is indicated by a padlock shown in the bottom of the browser. Hat-away is at no point able to view your card information. Hat-away uses a payment gateway approved by Danish credit card company PBS.

Cash on Delivery

In addition to credit card payments, Cash on Delivery payment is also possible in some countries. The order is dispatched via Post Danmark, and the local postal company will receive the payment at the time of delivery of the order. Please note that the local postal company may charge a fee for this service.

Shipping

All orders are shipped via Post Danmark. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before the customer's final confirmation of the order. It depends on the quantity, weight, and dimension of the products and the shipping country and customer type (business/residential). We aim to only show products in stock in the shop, thus we will dispatch all orders at the first weekday after we receive them. We will sent out a dispatch notice by e-mail at the time of dispatch.

Right of cancellation

You are given 14 days right of cancellation in accordance with Danish law. This deadline is calculated from the day you receive the product. This right is only valid if the product is in the same condition and quantity as at the time of delivery. If the product has been used, cancellation is conditioned by the product not suffering any decrease in value.

Using your right of cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order before we dispatch the products, please send us an e-mail including your order number. Our e-mail address is visible in the bottom of this screen. Please also include your bank account information if you have payed for the order, to allow us to refund the order amount.

If the order has been dispatched, you may cancel it by refusing to receive the parcel from the postal company, or return the parcel including its original packaging to:

Please include a copy of the invoice as proof of the purchase. You must pay the return shipping costs yourself. Please also include your bank account information, allowing us to transfer the refund within 30 days.

We do not accept parcels sent by cash on delivery or without enough postage.

Right of complaint

You have 2 years rights to complain over all products. If a malfunction due to production errors show up within 2 years of purchase, it will be repared free of charge, exhanged for a new product, or the product's price will be refunded. This right is conditioned by cause of the malfunction not being wrong use or handling of the product, modifications to the product, or other misuse. Within the first 6 months it is assumed without questions that the malfunction is caused by production errors, if Hat-away cannot prove otherwise. Hat-away cannot be held responsible for any consequential damage inflicted on buyer or third party and caused by malfunctions of the products.

Use your right of complaint

To complain over product errors, please return the product to our address including a copy of the invoice and a description of the error. We do not accept parcels sent by cash on delivery or without enough postage, and we accept only insured parcels. The repared or exchanged product will be sent back to you free of charge. If our investigations conludes that the product suffers no malfunction, it will be returned to you and a service fee of DKK 200 will be charged to cover our expenses.
